A native Oregonian, graduated from Gladstone High School in 1980. Dave Frank spent 20 years in the SF Bay Area and is a lifelong fan of the San Francisco Giants. As a teacher, he loves seeing students evolve through the year and from year to year as the Boys' Cross Country head coach. Since 2003, his cross country teams have finished in the top two at the state meet every year except 2004 (4th), with ten titles (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) and three runner-up finishes (2008, 2010, 2011).
