Coach Esbensen has led the Wilson Cross Country Teams to their first league titles since 1985, for boys, and 1990 for girls. The boys earned a trophy at the state meet for the first time since 1983. He also coached Wilson's only individual champion in Alex Slenning.  The team has also grown from 60 athletes to 170 athletes.
