Steve Sheehy has been the Union High School head cross country and an assistant track coach since 2002.  His teams have won 12 Oregon small school team cross country championships. Steve has coached 4 individual state cross country champions, 3 of which ran state meet record times. In 2017, Steve coached the 2 fastest boys in the state of Oregon at the Oregon State Meet.  The Union / Cove High Schools have a total of 180 students attending.  He currently lives in Union and teaches computer science at Eastern Oregon University.
